Choice-based art works best when kids have support without being handed the answer. These Mix N’ Match cards give young artists a simple starting point while still leaving plenty of room for their own ideas.

The set includes 20 pink “idea” cards and 20 blue “media” cards. Kids choose one card from each group, then combine the two prompts to inspire an original artwork. With so many possible combinations, the cards can be used again and again.

Your purchase includes both a ready-to-print PDF and an editable Canva template, so you can use the cards as designed or customize them, add your own prompts, and continue building your collection over time.

Use them in an art center, choice-based classroom, homeschool space, early-finisher station, or anytime a young artist needs a little help finding a starting point.
